Chris Farrell's 1978 MGB

Chris is from CBS like myself. He just got his 1978 MGB on the road this summer. I was amazed how different the color looked on this car in person. I originally thought it was Bracken like my own as I had seen a RB bracken MGB near Octagon Pond one day. My wife also said she saw a Bracken CB in St. John's.

Mike Manning's 1971 MG Midget

Mike has a beautifully restored 1971 MG Midget. I had the chance to sit aboard this car to see exactly how much smaller it is compared to my MGB.

JP "Peter" Lawrie's MGB

Peter has participated in the Sports Car Tours runs in the past. Here is a pic of his 77 MGB.

Mystery Car #2

Spotted this rubber bumper MGB driving up through Topsail Pond. Dropped off a card but no response from the owner. Again, let me know who you are for the post.

Fred Anderson's MGB GT and Midget

Fred is the man. The man I go to about all things MG. He owns a lovely 1968 MGB GT and a 74.5 MG Midget. I finally got a couple of pics of his cars on Friday.

Mystery Car

I saw this rubber bumper MGB at Topsail Beach this past summer. If you own it, let me know so I can update this post.

Lee Innis' 1980 Triumph Spitfire 1500

I met Lee at Capital Hyundai while purchasing a 2007 Sante Fe for the family (My MGB doesn't cut it as a family car). He drove up in the Spitfire and my wife had to close the transaction as I was otherwise preoccupied. Here is his email with a pic.

Good evening,

As you mentioned today I would like to get the info on your club tours, etc.

Seems everyone has a picture here so I will add mine.

This is a 1980 Spitfire 1500 the last production year it’s a Canadian spec, with 111150 kilometers, I am the third owner and I have the original papers.

I have all the info on this vehicle, history production date etc.

I think you have something here with this idea every other province has a British Car Club, anything I can do to help just let me know.

Thank for the invite to be part of this.

Cheers

L.

Wilf McIsaac's 1977 MGB

Wilf sent me this pic of his 1977 MGB.

The Steve Hicks' Trio

In my personal opinion Steve Hicks is the luckiest man in Newfoundland. He is the proud owner of a 1965 MGB, 1974 TR6 and a 1981 RHD Austin Mini. These are pictures Steve sent me of his fine collection of vehicles.

George Jarvis' MGB

I received an email from Steve Hicks telling me about this MGB a friend of his, Geoff Dawe, had for sale. A short time later George Jarvis purchased the car from Geoff. Here are a few of the pics Steve sent me.

Dave Parson's 1958 Austin Healey 'Bugeye' Sprite
